Tonight’s matchup providing the best value is the back end of a home and home in the American Athletic Conference, as SMU looks to avenge Tuesday’s loss to Memphis. In that game, SMU stormed out to a 13 point lead, before taking the second half off, and losing by double digits. There are a few reasons this game will be different. One is that SMU has already seen what Memphis can do. They will not let off the gas early this time. SMU is also a very good team in transition, and the Tigers turn the ball over almost a quarter of their possessions. It is shocking to me that a team led by the legendary Penny Hardaway is that sloppy with the ball. Finally, SMU’s top player Kendric Davis had his worst game of the season Tuesday. He won’t stay down for long. This one opened at minus 3, and has moved to minus 4 at press time. Get in before it moves any more!
