I know I didn’t write yesterday, but if you have any knowledge whatsoever, you probably had a bad day. Boston was no hitting Cleveland through 6. They lost the game and the under blew up in the process. The Yankees laid an egg after being the tying run by Oakland. And last but not least, St. Louis being one strike away from covering, yet not even winning. Either myself or one of my associates was on every one of those. Just like an actual team, we all need a stopper. Someone dependable to go out there and give you six strong innings, and for betting purposes, comes with good value. If you regularly read this site, you know that Chris Flexen is your man. The best part is you can either get a fantastic price, or cover yourself with a run and not break the bank. The last time I picked Flexen, it hit, but we nearly got ‘penned by Mariner relievers in allowing a 5 run ninth. One of my associates, clearly not blessed with my Berman-like nickname skills, was whining about the FFF being easy money. I figured out he meant Flexen First Five. Sure enough, it generally covers as well. I also like Seattle on the run line for the game, but if you can find these odds, this is a play as well. No more weeks down 6 units, let’s get paid!
