9/13/21 NFL- Baltimore Ravens at Las Vegas Raiders Preview

After sitting mostly empty for over a year since completion, Raider nation finally descends on the Las Vegas Valley tonight for Monday Night Football. For many reasons the community has not (and likely will not) rally behind the Raiders the way they have the Knights, expect Allegiant Stadium to be rocking tonight. In all serious, how different are these teams? Baltimore did win a playoff game last year. However, the Raiders had the inside track until an insane Ryan Fitzpatrick miracle in week 15 left them cold on the outside. By all accounts, the Raiders had a good offseason and camp. The Ravens lost multiple players to season ending injuries. Lamar Jackson gets a lot of good press, and Derek Carr gets a lot of bad press, but I feel like both are capable of getting the job done. The Ravens are the slightly better team, but at the end of the day, look for the Raiders to feed off the energy of the fans and compete very hard. This will be a close game. Take the home dog.
The Pick: Raiders +4 (-110)
Bonus: Darren Waller receptions over 5.5 (-115)
