10/6/21 MLB- St. Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Dodgers Preview

Only one game today, so if you want action, this is it. (Don’t mess with NHL preseason) Yesterday the public in general had a rough one, moving the Yankees and under lines repeatedly during the course of the day. There’s already been a ton of volatility today, so I will just advise you on what will win. Even though I was on yesterday’s over (which pushed), I feel like today will be different. First off, the quality of the pitching is much better. If one of the starters falters, which is very unlikely, we won’t be seeing the likes of Clay Holmes. The Dodgers won’t hesitate to use 20 game winner Julio Urias out of the pen, and the Cards already used Jack Flaherty out of the bullpen an inning the last game to set up for this. However, that may not even happen. Both Max Scherzer and Adam Wainwright are big game pitchers and champions. I know Scherzer is coming off a rare bad outing, but this is do or die. It should be a low scoring, clean game. I was able to get under 7.5 at -120. At different times at different books, its been as high as -140. If the price is insane, consider St. Louis +1.5 for the same reasons. However, if the under is -130 or below, jump all over it!
The Pick: Under 7.5 (-130 or better)
