If it seems like these teams faceoff every day, it isn’t too far from the truth, as the Ducks and Jets play for the third and final time with the season being less than 3 weeks old. The teams split the first two matchups, with each team winning at home in very similar games. The Ducks won the other meeting at the Honda Center 4-1. That was an uncharacteristically poor performance from Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck, likely the best American goalie in the NHL. Anaheim goalie John Gibson will likely be his backup for Team USA in the Olympics this February. The game looks to be a toss up, but I expect to see solid goaltending on both ends of the ice. Take the under, thank me later.
