12/6/21 NFL- New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Preview

Tonight’s game will likely be a watershed moment for the rest of the season and possibly the next decade. It’s very tempting to take Coach Belichick with points. However, if there is anyone more reliable than Bill, its Mother Nature. The weather in Orchard Park is already awful, and expected to get worse. Winds are expected to consistently be 25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 50 mph. There is also likely to be a ‘wintery mix’, a God awful blend of sleet and hail that looks to take the passing game out of the mix. This reminds me of the matchup between these teams in week 17 of 2008. Despite needing to win to have a shot at making the playoffs and having the likes of Randy Moss and Wes Welker in the lineup, the Pats could only muster 13 points. However, it proved to be enough to win the game. As a side note, I was in attendance, in possibly the only place in the stadium where I was protected from the wind on 3 sides. It led to the surreal image of me in short sleeves, with people 5 rows in front of me wearing about 17 layers and still shivering. The total has already dropped from 44 to 41. Hit it if you can get it at 39 or above. It could also be a good spot to tease the Patriots and the under. In any event, enjoy the game from the warmth of home, and make some money while you’re at it!
The Pick: Under 41
