1/10/2022 NCAA Basketball- Illinois Chicago Flames at IUPUI Jaguars

We’re going to look to an old friend today for our best play, the IUPUI Jaguars, as the play host to the Flames of Illinois Chicago. The numbers don’t lie in this one. The Jaguars come into the game sporting a 1-11 record. As previously discussed, B. J. Maxwell is their only offensive threat, averaging 11.8 ppg which is almost one quarter of the paltry 50.8 points per game they score. That is the worst in Division 1 by quite a large margin. I haven’t even brought up their 35.7 shooting percentage. However, they remain somewhat competent on defense, 64.6 points per game. The Flames are 4-8, and not very good either. They score 68.1 points per game and allow 70.8, but they havent ran into anyone as offensive challenged as the Jaguars. I foresee lots of missed shots, and a tight, low scoring game.
The Pick: Under 122.2
