8/11/2022 NFL Preseason- Tennesee Titans at Baltimore Ravens Preview

One of the more impressive streaks you haven’t heard about is on the line tomorrow, as the Titans visit M & T Stadium in Baltimore to take on the Ravens. On September 3, 2015 the Ravens dropped their preseason finale to the Atlanta Falcons 20-19. They have not lost a preseason game since. What else was going on in the world on that date? Well, COVID, Tik Tok and the Vegas Golden Knights did not exist. Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby were two of the most powerful people in Hollywood. We were still getting used to saying “Caitlyn Jenner” and laughing at a failed businessman turned reality star announcing he was running for the Republican nomination for President. Believe it or not, the Pittsburgh Pirates were on their way to winning 96 games. How did everything else in the world change except for this? Look no further than Ravens coach John Harbaugh. He takes it seriously every time the Ravens take the field, and demands excellence and execution from starters and backups alike. Lamar Jackson will not play, but Tyler Huntley was pretty good when pressed into action when it counted last year. The spread of 3.5 points is relatively high for a preseason game, but the Ravens have covered that in 6 of their last 7 preseason games. You can tease it, buy the half point or go money line, but this is a must play in some form.
The Pick: Ravens -3.5 (-110)
